The business was formed as a passion for quality tackle. It was natural for us to buy our rods in England, where quality craftsmen make some exceptional carp rods, and it was as a result of this that the idea grew and we decided to form Banana Rods, a company that would offer exceptional craftsmanship, meaning 100% handmade rods out of the best components available in the industry.

We didn't want to simply produce rods, we wanted Banana Rods to provide European Anglers with the Rolls Royce of Carp Rods.
Our company was created to provide the service we were looking for as anglers and never found.
